Jer’s Comic Books Begins:

This blog was created as a safe haven for me to post about my thoughts, feelings, and love of comic books. Originally, I began writing reviews about comics and posting them on my personal social media account, but the results varied with most friends not being very interested. With support from my brilliant wife, I decided to try my hand at being a blogger. I have found this to be a wonderful experience and the rest is history. Speaking of history, I also have justified reviewing comics as another way to help hone my writing skills as I study to become a historian.

Advice To New Bloggers:

Just remember that your blog should be a place where you share your passions. The reader will pick up on that and will probably feel the same as you even if your fascination is writing about your PEZ collection (that gives me an idea). Getting to know your audience, and your own voice, will help as you embark on those weekly blog posts. Remember that your voice is just as important as the bloggers who have hundreds of followers. Embrace the blogging community by networking and being supportive.
